Lotion Bar

Contrary to the popular belief, lotion bar is not a soap. It is basically a body lotion that does not contain water. The chief ingredients of lotion bars are beeswax, vitamin E oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, sweet almond oil, fragrances, essential oils and FD&C approved colors. Typically, lotion bar doesn’t contain any harmful chemical, preservatives and synthetic oils.

The unique feature of lotion bar is that it remains solid at room temperature. However, the moment it is brought near the skin it begins to melt, and the dry skin quickly absorbs the natural oils to become soft and subtle. After use, the lotion bar should be placed in a cool place so that it solidifies again. Lotion bar can even be refrigerated.

In addition to hands, elbows, knees and feet, lotion bar can be used on other parts of the body as well. Just cup the lotion bar in your palm and apply it directly to the skin. The warmth of your body will melt the lotion bar, and the natural oils released will nourish and soothe your skin.

The lotion bar can be used during summers as well as winters. While in winters, it prevents the skin from drying, in summers, it re-hydrates the skin that has been over-exposed to the sun. Lotion bar is a natural healer and moisturizer. Clinical studies have revealed that the lotion bar provides relief to the discomfort of psoriasis, insect bites and skin rashes. So, nurture your skin with a lotion bar!
